Langdale Hotel & Spa, Ambleside

I had a fantastic time at the Langdale Lodges in The Lake District! The lodge was well-equipped, comfortable, and perfect for a family stay. While my previous experience was mostly positive, this visit had a few issues, especially with the electric car charging availability and some dining staff attitudes. Overall, though, it was a good value for money and a lovely getaway in a beautiful location.

The setting of the hotel is gorgeous, surrounded by stunning natural beauty and well-maintained grounds. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making check-in a breeze. However, the atmosphere in the hotel during our stay felt a bit lacking, especially on Xmas Eve, and the dining experience left much to be desired for the high price we paid. While the leisure facilities seemed popular, they were quite chaotic during our visit.

My stay at the Langdale was lovely, with a stunning location and spacious, comfortable rooms. The staff were warm and helpful, making the experience enjoyable. However, some room maintenance issues detracted from an otherwise wonderful visit, and the evening meals felt overpriced for their portion sizes. Overall, it was a delightful getaway, but there's room for improvement in certain areas.

My stay at the hotel was quite mixed. While the spa facilities were fantastic and perfect after hiking, the dining experience fell short of expectations, especially at the restaurant. The grounds are lovely, offering beautiful scenery, but the hotel layout made it inconvenient to move around in winter weather. Overall, a great spa experience but some aspects could use improvement.

We had a lovely stay at a hotel perfect for walking in the Lake District. The rooms were very clean and quiet, and the location was great for outdoor activities. However, there were some downsides with the dining experience and some aspects of the hotel were disappointing, especially in terms of value for money as the facilities didn't match the high charges.
